Is Choremon free to use?
Yes! Choremon offers a free plan that includes 1 child account, up to 5 chores, 1 reward, and 3 starter Mons. You can upgrade to Premium anytime for unlimited children, chores, and access to all Mon types.
How do I connect my child's device to my parent account?
After creating your parent account, tap "Add Child" to generate an invitation code. Your child opens the app, selects "I'm a Kid," and enters the code. They'll be instantly connected to your family.
What devices does Choremon work on?
Choremon works on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. You can also access it through any web browser at choremon.com.
What are Mons?
Mons are virtual pet creatures that children care for by completing chores. Kids earn gems for finished tasks and use them to feed, train, and heal their Mons. As Mons receive care, they grow and evolve into new forms.
Can Mons die if my child forgets to care for them?
No, Mons never die or disappear. If neglected, a Mon may become sleepy, sad, or unwell, but they can always be restored to health with proper care. This teaches responsibility without causing distress.
How does the chore approval system work?
When a child marks a chore as complete, the parent receives a notification to approve it. Once approved, the child automatically receives the gems assigned to that chore. This ensures accountability while keeping parents in control.
Can I create custom rewards for my child?
Absolutely! You define what rewards are available and how many gems each costs. Popular rewards include screen time, treats, toys, special activities, or later bedtimes. You control what motivates your family.
Is my family's data safe?
Yes. We take privacy seriously. Children's accounts contain minimal personal information, and we never sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can my child use Choremon without seeing ads?
Choremon is completely ad-free for all kids, including free accounts. We believe children should have a safe, distraction-free experience.
Does my child need their own device?
No! If your child doesn't have their own phone or tablet, you can use "View as Child" from the parent dashboard to let them access their account on your device. Perfect for younger kids or families sharing a tablet.
Can I use Choremon without the virtual pet for older kids or teenagers?
Yes! You can disable Mon features for any child in their settings. They'll only see chores and earn coins for real-world rewards - perfect for teenagers who've outgrown virtual pets but still benefit from chore tracking.
