It started with shoes.
"Please just put your shoes away." Said calmly. Then firmly. Then through gritted teeth. Sound familiar?
We're Maciej and Dominika, parents of three kids (Iza, Filip and Ana) who seemed mysteriously incapable of completing basic household tasks despite being brilliant at everything else. Dominika spent months searching for a chore app that would actually work — something fun, motivating, and not designed to give kids anxiety when they inevitably forget to make their bed.
She didn't find one. So we built it.
"Can we keep them? Can we feed them? What do they eat?"
One evening, I generated two little creatures using AI — a fiery one called Ignis and a water droplet named Dewy. I showed them to the kids. Their eyes lit up.

That's when we knew we were onto something.
3,000 images. 300 videos. 200+ features.
What started as a weekend project became a full obsession. I generated thousands of AI images, tweaking prompts pixel by pixel until each Mon had the right personality. Dominika and the kids became my first (and most demanding) testers — delivering feedback on sticky notes because convincing children to use Trello is a battle I wasn't willing to fight.
Some notes were suggestions. Some were complaints. All were written on both sides because paper is expensive and children are thorough.
💜 Our philosophy is simple
Mons get sad when neglected. They get sleepy. Sometimes sick. But they never die — because trauma is not a feature. We wanted motivation, not punishment. A reason to do chores, not fear of consequences.
We built a chore app because bribery works, but we wanted it to be more... elegant.
Today, Choremon is our family project.
We live in Europe with our three kids, testing every feature in real life before it reaches you. If something doesn't work for our family, it doesn't ship.
